On Holy Ground: A Bible Study on Prayer

PRAYER: YOUR LIFELINE TO THE FATHER We occasionally wonder if God is hearing our prayers. It's easy to forget the that Scripture tells us that he is not only listening to the longings, requests, complaints, and praises of his people but he is continually speaking to us through His Holy Spirit. On Holy Ground: A Bible Study on Prayer will place you in the center of his Word to help you better understand this wondrous two-way communication between you and the Father who listens and speaks. And it will help you answer universal questions on prayer such as: I hear about power in prayer, but my prayers only seem to get to the ceiling. Why? Is prayer anything more than an exercise we are required to do in performing as a good Christian? What good does it actually do to pray if God already knows anyway? And looking beyond her own inquiries, author Kirkie Morrissey has found that prayer is more than just letting God know her needs. It is an opportunity to worship God, to give him thanks, and to minister to other people and nations. Through this Bible study, let God show you how his gracious hand is constantly reaching you in love as you stretch toward him in prayer.
